A2E's Consulting is structured to assist parents and guardians with all areas of the IEP process. Guiding them along the path to an IEP that meets the needs of their child, applies meaningful participation, focuses on appropriate services, supports and accommodations. All while helping parents and guardians build the skills and knowledgeable to be confident advocates for their child.

Consulting is individualized to the IEP process based on where the team is at in the process and the objectives that need to meet. ​​

  • Data review to assist in advocating for your child’s needs based on data

  • Meaningful parent participation in the IEP process.

Group IEP Training

If you are looking for a training program to equip you with the skills, knowledge and information to advocate for your child with confidence, A2E has what you need.

 

A2E's IEP training: Bridging the Gap - Connecting Parents To IEP Success is accessible in two ways. The Group Training model allows parents/guardians to learn the IEP process from Initial Evaluation through Transition Services using a pre-set training model. 

The group meets 6 consecutive weeks, on a given day and time. Each week covers a specific topic. Attendees are highly encourage to attend all session and take notes to assist in targeting their immediate needs in a 1 hour individual consult.

The group training model is structured for participants to gain knowledge and confidence while assisting them in Bridging the Gap to IEP Success.

The training includes (but is not limited to):

  • 6 consecutive weekly online group session - 1 hour each session, on the same day of each week at the same time.

  • lEP process - Initial Evaluation through Transition Services.

  • Preset content - IDEA, 504, meaningful participation, problem solving and more

  • Skills and content to build confidence, gain knowledge, and Bridge the Gap to IEP Success.

  • 1 hour individual consultation - scheduled at the end of the 6 weeks, directly with A2E.

Initial Consult

Initial Consult options are available as follows:

  • Free 15 minute  phone consult - booked directly with A2E through email.

  • 1hour consultation by phone or video to discuss a specific concern you are having. Cost: $100 - paid no more than 24 hours ahead of the scheduled meeting.

  • 2 hour consult which could include one hour pre-reading documents prior to a one hour phone or video consult to discuss the documents and related concerns. Cost: $200 - paid no less than 24 hours ahead of the scheduled meeting.

*Documents to be provided at the time of payment to allow time for review.

Individualized (1 to 1) IEP Training

Are you looking for an individualized training program that will give you the tools, skills and knowledge to be a fierce advocate for your child. While aligning with where you are at in your child's journey, as well as what your schedule allows? 

A2E's IEP training: Bridging the Gap - Connecting Parents To IEP Success is accessible in two ways.

 

The 1 to 1 training model is personalized, targeted and individualized to your specific needs and goals.  

The training includes (but is not limited to):

  • 6 Consecutive Weekly Sessions - 1 hour each session on the same day of the week at the same time.

  • IEP Process - Initial Evaluation through Transition Services, meeting you where you are at and preparing you for each step along the way.

  • Tailored content to individual needs, based on pre-training consult.

  • Skills and content to build confidence, gain knowledge and Bridge the Gap to IEP Success.

  • 2 hours individual Consultation to address the most current and pressing needs, or areas of most concern. Consultation hours are scheduled at the end of the 6 weeks, directly with A2E.

*Online: 👩🏻‍💻 Sessions are scheduled in advance, directly with A2E to align with both A2e's and your personal scheduling needs.

Executive Function (EF) Coaching

A2E offers individualized, client focused Executive Function Coaching. The structure of the coaching is individualized the clients, needs, goals and schedule. 

Whether it's a middle or high school student whose is struggling with executive functioning deficits, or a college students who feels they need to address the EF challenges they are facing, the training is structured assess where you are at to find out where the challenges are, what the individual goals are, and how best to approach them based on who you are and what will work for you. 

The coaching includes (but is not limited to):

  • Trained and experienced EF Coach

  • Personalized, targeted, educationally and life based approach to help students be more successful in school and life

  • Executive Function/Skill Coaching for individuals who desire to reach the academic and career goals they set for themselves.

Public Speaking and Training

A2E offers tailored training and public speaking engagements for multiple settings and forums. We work with you to design a training model that best meets the needs of your vision and mission. Training can be offered in-person or virtual.

 

Consider the possibilities of tailored training and presentations on important topics to build knowledge, capability and competency, tailored to YOUR specific clients, employees and organizations needs.

Public Speaking and Training - Contract required, fee varies, travel will be built into the fee.

Military Rates Available - Signed Agreement is required for services.​

Retainer Fee - Required with Agreements, based on individual client case requirements.

Discounted Hourly Rate Plan option - To apply, it must be chosen as part of the Agreement.
